Exza is a Construction Material Testing and Research company specializing in Geotechnical Engineering, Concrete and Aggregates. 

We develop asphalt mix design, emulsion base treatment and various stabilization to BOBS and SANAS standards.

CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL TESTINg

  • Cement: Setting time, fitness, specific gravity, Lime Contact
  • Aggregates: Grading, ACV, Soundness, Abrasion, Crushing value, flakiness and elongation, Reidel & Weber, Fineness Modulus, Average Least Dimension, Absorbtion, Compacted bulk density, Loose bulk density
  • Concrete: Mix design, Coring, Tensile Strength, Slump tests, Cubes Moulding
  • Asphalt: Marshall Stability Tensile testing, compression testing, creep testing, triaxial testing, wheel tracking of bituminous materials, fracture toughness testing, fatique crack growth, S-N testing and hardness testing. 

CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL TESTING

We can use Nottingham Asphalt Tester (NAT) for indirect Tensile Stiffness Modulus (ITSM), Indirect Tensile Fatique (IFTF), Repeated Load Axial Test (RLAT), and Vacuum RLAT. I can use EDMS (lab and industrial), grinding and polishing, and preparing TEM samples by twin jet electro polishing. Rheology, including Dynamic ShearRheometry and viscometers. i can use Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), Acoustic emissions monitoring and Digital Image Correlation (DIC), Charge-Coupled Device (CCD) and Image Process Ananlysis System (iPas Software)

  • Gypsum block and foam block testing (for low-cost housing research)

  • ROAD REHABILITATION: We specialize in Road Rehab Design Technology that include pavement Designs that incorporate the Latest Mechanistic Pavement Design methods and Computer Programs


  • CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL DESIGN: We have expert knowledge in construction materials design that includes asphalt mix design using bitumen and plymer modified binders, natural and recycled soil material stabilization design, concrete  mix design and road seal design.
  • We pride ourselves that we dont just test results, but we provide a summary of the outcome of it. We can provide recommendations at request.
